Chris studied psychology at Stanford and then spent the better part of the last decade helping startups, multinationals, and public organizations apply behavioral approaches to solve problems. He founded Cognitive, an award-winning behavior design firm that collaborated on large-scale interventions in areas ranging from heart attack prevention to retirement savings, to US presidential elections. Chris also advises at Common Cents Lab, a non-profit in the fintech space founded by renowned behavioral economist Dan Ariely. Now, he spends time applying behavioral economics to investing in digital assets. Chris is a managing partner at Esoteric Capital, a behavioral hedge fund, and a cofounder at Elementus, a blockchain analytics firm.
